How long will it last?
The service life is 10 years from manufacture, including units that have never been used. A competent person should inspect the harness every 6 months, as the manual recommends, and the European standard cited there calls for a visual check at least every 12 months. Users check the harness before each use. Remove it from service after a failed thorough examination, after any fall arrest, or once it reaches the 10-year limit.
