How long will it last?
The service life is 10 years from the date of manufacture. Within that period, a competent person inspects the harness at least every 6 months, with a formal examination every 12 months, and each result goes into the equipment record. Stop using the harness if an inspection fails, if it has arrested a fall, or once it reaches 10 years from manufacture. Check the product label before each shift to confirm the serial number matches the equipment record.
