How long will it last?
The stated life is 10 years from manufacture, counted even for units never used. A competent person should examine the harness at least every 6 months, as SpanSet recommends, while the European standard cited in the manual sets a visual check at 12 months minimum. Users run their own check before each use. Take the harness out of service after a failed thorough examination, after it arrests a fall, or at 10 years.
