How long will it last?
Service life is 10 years from the date of manufacture, as stated in the datasheet and manual. During that period, a competent person examines the harness periodically at intervals not exceeding 6 months, and the results go into the equipment record. A pre-use check is required before every use. Withdraw the harness from service if a thorough examination fails, if it has arrested a fall, or when it reaches 10 years from manufacture.
